Meet Barbara Crinson for a trip to Cowpen Bewley Landfill Site to look at 6 lagoons and also see where the club installed a Biomatrix ecosystem, comprising an island and nesting platform.
The site is VERY muddy so wellies or tough boots are highly recommended.
There is a requirement to wear high-vis, so if you have a vest/jacket, please bring it. Some high-vis garments will be available to borrow at the weighbridge where all visitors must sign in and out on the day.
N.B. We need to reverse-park near the portacabins and please do try to car-share. The site is operational so we must remain together as a group.
