Local Outings-Nightjars

It is intended to run a local outing to see the Nightjars in Guisborough Forest in the next couple of weeks. This will be weather dependent  and therefore only a short notice period will be given. Details will be posted here on the forum when the date is known.

Bert Mitchell will lead the Nightjar outing this coming Friday 24th June 2022. Meet at the car park at rear of Belmont House in Guisborough (TS14 7FD) which is situated in Rectory Lane and is near to Aldi and Iceland stores at 8.45 p.m. for a 9.00 start. The visit will be made by car and car sharing arrangements will be made upon arrival. Only a short walk will be needed to view the Nightjars. Bert can be contacted on 07870 451648

The next local outing is on Sunday 24th July. Looking for dragonflies and damselflies at RSPB Saltholme. Meet in the garden next to the reserve centre at 10.00.  Note non RSPB members will need to pay £4 for entry to reserve. Leader Steve McDonnell 07930576234. This outing is for beginners and experts alike.

If the weather forecast changes this trip could be cancelled
