Observing sites ????

Guys,

  Very new to this hobby and would like to expand my horizons when it comes to field trips.
I know of Cowpen, Saltholmes, Long Drag etc around the Hartlepool area.
  Visit Castle Eden Dene often and just found Portrack Marshes.

   Can anyone give me details I can enter into my satnav to find places further afield. Each time people place things on the sightings link, I check on the OS map, but never seem to find it. Just found Easington Beck valley, so will try there later in the year.
