  This fella was on the grass opposite Elizabeth Road/ Golf Course turn off.

Behaved a lot like a Blackbird, but Red legs and different beck ?

Any pointers much appreciated

Hi Eddie,

I presume this is at Seaton Carew. I saw this bird flit into the bushes as I drove past in the car last Monday, after seeing the Red-backed Shrike, and wondered what it was. Thank you for posting the pictures and resolving the puzzle.

  Same area a couple of weeks ago, myself and Wayne saw a Grey Shrike fly into the bushes along the fence. The RBShrike is exactly what I thought as I caught its colouration as I drove past.

just like gary i saw this bird fly into flower beds opposite golf clubhouse while driving past by time id stopped n turned round it had disappeared thanks for that eddie mystery solved cos i didnt have a clue what id seen
