Black Grouse

I had never actually seen a black grouse until recently when travelling from Reeth to Tan Hill via Keld.  Whilst stopping on the moor just outside Keld a group of about nine flew over and landed to give us good views.  We then continued on to Tan Hill and then saw other single birds on the journey back down to Reeth.  Thought it may interest the person of whom this was one of their favourite birds although these were not seen in our area.
