Comments about suppresion on sightings page

I think the sightings page should be used for sightings, not gripes. Surely this is why we have this forum. Living in Cumbria I am used to the north of the county not letting the south of the county know about good birds and vice a versa. The county list is very important to some people and the less shared the better. Living in the middle is very frustrating. Coming to Teesside for the last 27 years I have always found the birders to been keen for everybody to see the birds, well shown this week with the Bonelli's. Several of my friends have visited and always commented about how different Teesmouth bird club is from Cumbria. Also, was quite amused when Lee Evans arrived yesterday, trying to convince everybody that a pale chiffchaff was the Bonelli's. Pleased to say nobody believed him.
