Colour Ringed Great Black-backed Gull, Scaling Dam

An immature Great Black-backed Gull bearing a yellow colour ring on it's left leg and a metal ring on the right leg, was at Scaling Dam this morning. Unfortunately it was on the far bank opposite the hide and the full details of the colour ring couldn't be obtained. It looked like it started with a H followed by two more numbers or letters that I couldn't make out.

Most likely it was a scottish bird but it may be worth looking out for to get the full details.
