Back on the lake again. It was poor light by the time I got there but still nice to see. It was giving pretty close views as the lake is 99.9% frozen and the only ice free area is right in front of the best spot for viewing the lake.

Still present this morning though remaining distant now the ice has gone. Tufted Duck x8 were coming to seed thrown out but the RN Duck never came near.

All taken with the Canon 7D + Canon 400mm f5,6 + Canon 2x teleconverter.

Still present this afternoon. Still mostly remaining distant though some closer views today.

Still looking well settled this afternoon, but still not venturing close to the bankside.

Giving slightly better views this morning though still a long way off.
