Any help would be great ...i would like to buy a spotting scope  but have not got a clue what would be suitable ... i have plenty of camera equipment ..i,e all canon bodies and a wide range of lenses etc . Been using a 50-500 lens  with 2x converter (=1000mm) but still not managing to get anywhere near most birds  therefore thinking about a spotting scope but dont want to spend a fortune as photography(& kids) takes up most of my cash . I could also do with a decent pair of bins ...something lightweight  if possible . Not to keen to ask in shops for help as would prefer advice of someone whos had experience in the field...cheers nick.

We got one last time they had them - my wife's scope - well that's what I tell her  Grin

Excellent value for the quality/price. Almost 12 months old now and still peforming well.

This time we picked up one of their nest box cameras for £39.99 - amazing quality for the price. They have pretty decent bird related offers every now and again.
