Sir ian beefy botham is not at all happy with the rspb,he sent an open letter to the times,blasting the way it spends its donations. and having a right good rant.I found it totally  bizarre. I have never liked the man,and had no idia about is interest s out side cricket. I felt he must be shooting nut so googled his interests.wow not only a grouse blaster,but his son leam,has his own  shooting estate,just out side Harrogate, and employs keepers.all is now clear the rspb are puting the pre sure on the shooting lobby over hen harriers,this will include new laws  for land owners,and thay do not like it one bit.looks like his shooting chums have got him to try and undermine  the rspb,and tell its members there wasting there money,  I wonder if he thinks the satellite  tagging of harriers is also  a complete waste of money. KEEP  IT UP they're  starting to squirm.the crime s,they are commiting ranks right along side the wanting killing of elephants, and rhinos for profit  and gain and has no place in this land.I loved the bit in beefy s letter about losing his teeth,I know a few that would gladly  knock the rest out

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-south-scotland-30593606 the above link,is what ian bothem, and his like .are really having a go at the r s p b.the first scotish conviction, under there wonderful new law ,so called, vicarious liability law.the rspb are pushing for this law to be brought  in for England, the land owners, have agreed, to a hen harrier recovery plan but want the law to remain as it is very convenient, when  harriers mysteriously disappear. The government, we have at the moment are draging there feet ,as most of them are shooters.but it is an election year if we made a little effort, with over a million members in the rspb we can fight back, i am going to write to my mp and tell him he could have  a million votes at a stroke, if they bring in this law sorry to rant on .
