Scotland, has just dished out its first custodial  sentence, for a game keeper.a Aberdeenshire, , keeper has been jailed, for killing a goshawk,he was caught, by hidden camera, removeing it from a larson trap this is a large cage trap, which catches them alive, he then dispatched it on camera. The camera was placed by the RSPB unofficially, on private land,he tried to weasel out of it by claiming it was injured, the judge was having non of it.Scotland, is really leading the way hear, this is causing serious concerns, with the darkside in England.the Scottish judge, i think was a woman commended the rspb  for its exellent work .one landowner in Scotland has erected signs saying rspb not welcome here, must have something to hide, they are livid the rspb are going onto private land and putting ser valance cameras on their land without telling them.can you visualise this ,The son of England  cricket star sir ian botham, or lord masam, convicted, of killing rare endangered birds.this is why thay are incensed at the r s p b they do not want the scotish law brought in.this information, was obtained from this month's SHOOTINGTIMES magazine, which i read now and again, just to see what the dark side are upto, and thay do seem  very positive ln condemning the actions of this keeper. And want to distance themselves from any illegal activity. I am in sensed at the death of that gos ,i would sell my soul to photograph them, keep supporting the RSPB.

Scotland are indeed way ahead of us, and more power to them. Unfortunately it will be a miracle if it happens here as long as the RSPB think a 10 week suspended sentence for killing 9 Buzzards and a Sparrowhawk is a victory. Unlike Scotland the landed gentry here don't need tourism and indeed don't want it. Witness the moneys they spend fighting "rights of way" cases. They don't want us "plebs" on their land and seeing what they get up to. Banning Grouse shooting however wont help. They will just replace the Grouse with bloody Sheep and then the heather will be overgrazed and the habitat lost. Nevermind. Come the revolution brother.
