Godwit ID.

Spotted at South Gare today,   could this be a Bar Tailed Godwit , there are so many birds that look similar.

Certainly looks that way.

It is a Bar-tailed. Leg length is a pretty good guide. The upper leg is much shorter on Bar-tailed which is often the easiest feature to pick out from a distance. On Black-tailed the upper and lower leg lengths are about equal.
