Birding TV series in development

I got the following email today if anyone is interested. I have not checked to see if it is genuine as I am not interested but in case anyone is:-


I?m a TV Producer at Ricochet Television, part of the Warner Bros group and wondered if I could have a quick chat with you about a new TV series we?re developing about competitive birding around the world? 

One of the BBC commissioners is interested in us exploring the idea and has asked us to find 10  British birders who?d be up for taking part in a new adventure, that involves traveling the globe in search of the world?s rarest birds. I wanted to get in touch and see what you thought?.

I?m looking to speak to (and then hopefully film a short interview on skype) with confident, enthusiastic birders from all over the UK as soon as possible. It?d be great to find a range of ages, backgrounds and levels of twitching experience, so as well as those who have travelled the globe with years of twitching experience, it could also appeal to those who have only recently become passionate about birding.

Is this something that you or any of your group members would be interested in? If so would it be possible to forward this on to the group?
