Strange Deer?

Don't know what on earth this fellow was. Its ears were crinkled like colliflowers, It had a large patch of fur completely missing on the back with dark/nearly black skin showing. It also had what appeared to be 3 previous wounds on the rear quarters. It was not too big and at first I thought Muntjack, but colouration.shape wrong. Anyone know? It looked as thought it had been in a fight.

The tusks are a giveaway, these deer are all over the North Norfolk coast.
