Hi everyone.

I am hoping some of the excellent photographers on here can give me some tips on how to photograph birds.
I am a keen beginner and willing to learn. I have recently bought myself a Nikon D300, and I also have the
70-300 lens. I realise that I will be restricted with this lens so I am looking for spots where I will be able to get
up fairly close to birds.
I am going on holiday for a couple of weeks so hopefully will talk soon, and maybe meet some of you out and about.

Welcome to the site, Everyone is full of information on here, and there alot of people who know some good places locally and further a field, and the updates are always good to look out for.
