second time i have encounted bikers on the snook, thees became abusive when told them this is a nature reserve.then spent the whole time i was there tearing up the place ,weelies, just to enoy me,they are accessing the snook from the sandworks through the missing fence section this just needs securing to stop them getting on,there are a lot of folk with wood burners collecting on a daily basis, wont be long before they are driving over .

They are a problem all over the country Tim. Half the time the bikes are nicked so registration plates are meaningless. At least at the Snook you have room to get out of their way. Up in this area we have them tearing up and down the footpaths which are enclosed within hedges where there is no room to dodge them. It's only a matter of time before someone or their dog gets run over. I just carry a heavy walking stick. Nuff sed.

I have raised this with Nat Eng, who are aware of the problem and in negotiations with landlord to have the barrier re-instated more robustly. They have suggested that you contact the police on 101, with information as well.
Or the reserve warden    emma.king@naturalengland.org.uk.
I agree, there is no point of bitching about the matter here. You have a picture and if members note any vehicle with a trailer at the end of Zinc Wks Road, this should be then be reported too.

I understand from Emma King  ( NE warden for the NNR) that thanks to photographs taken of the registration plates of the bikes, the police have cautioned the miscreants. However chaps be alert - your country needs.................
Negotiations are still underway with the landowner for better, restrictive access control at the Zinc Works road gate.
