The club had mentioned a few months ago that this proposal was in the offing and it is now formal. I do not need to stress the importance of this Local Nature Reserve and Teesmouth and Durham Bird Clubs will be lodging formal objections. However in planning matters, the number of objections received is a consideration too. We urgently ask members to object.
You can do this in writing by post to Planning & Development Management, County Hall, Durham DH1 5UL.
or    by email to   planning@durham.gov.uk
or using the system directly on line, specific to the application, but to do it this way, you have to formally register yourself, as instructed.

In all cases you should quote the application reference number   DM/17/01033/FPA, state that you object; give your reasons and provide name and address.

Firstly, to read the documents relevant to the application, Google the Durham planning site and quote the application reference number.

Please do this to quote the old adage " If you put up with it, you will only get more of it"
