Doly Parton Rocks (!)

If you've looked at the Google satellite view of the Headland,you might have noticedan element of confusion that has crept in.Parton Rocks are located at the north end of Marine Drive and have been named Dolly Rocks and Parton Rocks. We did have a rock that looked like an elephant until it was destroyed by a storm in 1891, but I don't think we ever had any rocks that resembled Ms.Parton's principal features.
