KESTREL AT SALTHOLME

First of all can I say hello and thanks to Jamie for adding me.

On my last visit to the NE, over the Festive Period I made a few visits to Saltholme RSPB.  Each visit I spotted what I thought was a Kestrel, but it seemed bigger than usual (possibly a female) and it's plumage was very pale.  Sorry I have no decent pics, can anyone who may have seen this bird confirm it's identity.
