Cancelled Trip to Martinmere

Have just read on the homepage of the club that the planned trip to Martinmere has been cancelled due to lack of numbers, what a shame.  I was looking forward to going as I have never visited the reserve before and always find it good to go with other members of the club.  I have to admit that I did not put my name down as with not being able to attend the last meetings did not realise that names for the trip had been requested yet.  I think it is a shame when people try to arrange such outings that the support isn't forthcoming.  Thanks Julie for your effort in trying.  Hope this does not put you off arranging such trips in the future.  It is a way we can learn from other birders.
