Can someone please advise how to add more photo's to an original thread that I started.
I found the process of uploading images easy, but adding additional pics to my thread has been somewhat harder?
I have read through the help pages and followed the advice given, but I seem to be unable to add more pics.
I've tried the reply to post and modify routes but to no avail.
Would be most grateful if someone can help!
You can either add more photos to your original post by using the 'Modify' button top right of the text box and then clicking on 'Additional Options' bottom left of the text box. You can add up to four photos per post.
The alternative method is just to select 'Reply' to your own post and add a new post likewise select 'Additional Options' to add up to another four photos.
Ian, thanks for the reply.
As mentioned I have tried both ways using the reply and modify options.
If I use the reply option it informs me that I'm the original poster and doesn't seem to allow me to add more pics, if I use the modify option and then the additional button all it allows is the removal of my original photo's; there is no alternatives to add more photo's?
I will have another go using the reply option.
Regards Paul
Very strange. Both methods work equally well for me.
Ian, I have managed to upload some pics from yesterday to the original thread.
I now realize what was causing the problem, one of the photo's capacity was to large. This prevented the pics from been uploaded and resulting in a message telling me so. I then attemted to upload 4 smaller pics from that same page, I kept getting a message informing me that I had already replied to the post.
I logged out and back on to the forum and started afresh, I was then able to upload the 4 pics.
I now know not to use the back button if an error occurs.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Ah! That explains it, the same thing happens with me. I occasionally do the same and find I have to start a new post from scratch rather than try to edit the existing one.
Glad to hear you got it sorted :)
