Title: Saltholme Baird's Sandpiper
Post by: Adam J on September 29, 2011, 06:45:11 PM
I was just wondering if the Baird's Sandpiper seen yesterday at Saltholme was a juvenile bird? I was watching a bird on Back Saltholme just before the reserve closed today which had very scaly upperpart feathers and fits the description of Baird's Sandpiper well. Also seen from the Saltholme hide was a Black Tern.

Thanks,
Adam
