TEESMOUTH BIRD CLUB : BEGINNERS' WADER IDENTIFICATION COURSE
The TBC is intending to run a series of one-day identification courses for people new to birdwatching. The first course is on waders and will be held at the RSPB Saltholme Reserve on Sunday 30th October 2011.
The subjects covered will be :
o An introduction to waders
o Cleveland waders
o Identification techniques
o Identification of all waders regularly recorded in Cleveland
There will also be a visit to the reserve hides.
The course is open to everyone, but priority will be given to TBC and RSPB members. The cost is £4 per person.
