One of at least four seen today (3 1st w, and a 3rd w) I believe, of which I saw two.
This is this afternoons bird which showed well though only stood up once briefly, hence the rather awkward shot, though you get the idea.
A stunning gull.

Like the Rainton Redpoll's last winter there's a chance we won't know the real number of Caspian's Gulls in the area if they aren't documented. Hopefully this won't fall on deaf ears but if you are out looking for gulls on Seaton/Tees Marshes, have a look in this thread to see what birds are round and where possible identify individual birds. If you do see a bird that isn't here then please make some detailed notes and get some photographs or video. Would be really good to build up a data base of birds to know how many are knocking about.
Shots of all three 1W birds yesterday, plus a video of bird 3 (photo 427), but failing light at this point:

1st winter seen this morning
A single 1st winter present early afternoon today, at Seaton Common. Spent a lot of time sittiing down amongst the other gulls, making it hard to pick up. When it did stand up and move around it stood out like a sore thumb. Thanks to Andrew Kinghorn for pointing the bird out.
Cracking pics Steve! Far better than my poor attempts to photo and video the bird. Overexposed it a bit of an understatement when it comes to my video and pics. ;D
I have put my pics and video of the bird on my blog post here for anyone interested: http://andrewkinghorn.blogspot.com/2011/12/embarrassing-grebe.html
Cheers,
One seen yesterday by Dave Harrison. Digiscoped.
One present again between 8:45-9:20am this morning, before it flew off towards the tip.
A few pics of a 1st winter present on morning of Friday 27th.
