Title: Gull ID
Post by: Bill on December 23, 2011, 01:41:57 PM
Just joined forum so could.nt ask query earlier. Tues 22Dec 11am at Cowpen Bewley Pond. Standing between some BH Gulls and a Herring Gull was a single Gull midway in size between the others. At distance (only had binns) feet appeared neither pink or yellow being more greyish. Beak was yellowish with a dark ring around just above the tip. If anyone was there on Tues could you advise as I,m not too clever on the less obvious. Thanks

Maybe a Common Gull? There were three there on Sunday 18th when I called.

There looked to be 1 or 2 possibilities in the books but yes I believe you are quite correct. Thanks
