Title: Gull ID (photo from the Hudson bay)
Post by: Thomas on January 31, 2012, 08:57:26 PM
Whilst volunteering in Churchill, Canada in Spring '10, I spotted this white winged gull. Someone told me it was probably Glaucous, but I was never certain due to soft face and smaller size (compared to some of the monsters we get!)

Another friend thought possible Iceland gull. What with all these pale gulls being reclassified, does anyone have any thoughts?

Much appreciated!

It's certainly not a Glaucous, not with that head.
