October/November they should be back at RSPB Saltholme in Haverton scrub area.
Thanx for that, I seem to have looked in the most likely places and ended up seeing everything but.
It should be said that you should not go looking for these owls!
I'm sure that once their roosting patterns have been established, the RSPB wardens will be happy to show them to everyone, at a distance which doesn't disturb them.
