Title: TVWT BioBlitz at Preston Farm
Post by: ETJ on May 05, 2015, 09:12:03 PM
Amy Carrick, the River Tees Officer for the local Wildlife Trust, is asking members for help at their Preston Farm reserve :

The Wildlife Trust will be running a Bio Blitz at Preston Farm on the 13th June, the objective is to not only get detailed data from this relatively new reserve but also to get the general public involved as a lot of people pass through the reserve without having a detailed look around.

I?d be really grateful if everyone could pass the leaflet around to volunteers/contacts/members, I?ll be extremely grateful for any volunteers to do crafts, pond dipping, bug hunting, wild flower survey activities etc, so give me a shout if your free! We?ll be putting the big tent up, so if anyone wants to promote their projects/organisation or if it will help with recruitment then feel free to promote!

Many thanks

Details of the event :

Become a wildlife explorer for a day and discover what?s living right on your doorstep by joining in at your local BioBlitz event. Our team of experienced naturalists and wildlife watchers need your help to find and identify as many different species of birds, bugs, plants and beasties as we can before the clock runs out.
