Title: Headland hartlepool to ID

Just took dogs out on the moor before going to bed and saw a dozen or so of these, posting now as I've not seen them on the moor before, so alerting you if they something special, probably not thought so who's going to ID this, not had chance to check my book as I need to go to bed

Im guessing female wheatear, any other suggestions

Wheatear it is. Quite a few are moving south along the coast now.

So it's the same bird as this  ???  and here's me thinking birds were uniform is size and shape unlike us humans

Yep! This one is a juvenile and the one below is a male seen yesterday on Seaton Common.

There was a dozen or more on the Town moor so I'll take camera out again and see if I can snap a Male today, thats if they are still about
