Has anybody assigned the birds to a subspecies yet. Just makes my life list more complete, sado. ;)

Birdguides have it listed as Phoenicurus ochruros phoenicuroides of " paradoxus type" if that helps. It's all bloody Greek to me.

phoenicuroides is the latin name for the sub-species. Paradoxus means it is a 1st winter showing some adult male features, roughly speaking! It's all latin to me.
