Wow Mike is that record. Was it a common worm or possibly a worm from a beast as in intestinal worm? I have seen similar many years ago on the farm if my memory serves me right.
Had another look today Derick and it looks like some kind of parasitic worm from as you say inside an animal.Quite dried up by now. Cheers.
