Was attending a wedding in Cumbria last night, so took the chance to visit Leighton Moss. The purple heron came fully out into the open for about 5 minutes during my visit, before being seen off by a young grey heron; a bit distant but managed to grab a couple of record shots. Other highlights included GW egret, red deer, greenshank, marsh harrier, buzzard, sparrowhawk, marsh tit and treecreeper.
