I was talking to one of the volunteers at Saltholme in early December and I was told that the manager of Saltholme Dave Braithwaite is going to retire sometime during 2018. He will be a great miss and a sad loss to Saltholme reserve as he saw the planning and the opening of Saltholme a number of years ago. I don't know if anyone else knew this on these forums. But I thought I would pass on what I had been told by one of the Saltholme volunteers.

The job of senior site manager at Saltholme is now open for applications on the RSPB website. Anyone on here fancy applying for the job vacancy later this year. I'm to old as I'm 65 years of age. Anyone on here have the qualifications for the job.
