Large flock of Twite and Linnet at Cowbar fields. One very distant group, way beyond cameras lens capacity "hence the poor quality" were a group I watched for a few minutes. About 8 of them had Blue cast on upper wing flipes. It was quite noticable through binoculars especially when wings on downbeat. Is it a trick of the colour spectrum in the camera? or has anyone else seen these.
Both have a pale/white wing panel which is more obvious in flight. I dare say it's just a lighting effect that they appeared blue.
