Little Owl enjoying the evening sun yesterday at Wingate Quarry.
More of the little owl (with improved colour balance!) in the same place at Wingate quarry tonight.
In its usual place yesterday evening shortly before trying unsuccessfully to get the chicks from a wrens nest, but I don't hold out much hope for the chicks when they have fledged as the nest is below the owls favourite tree.
