I normally only get a fleeting glimpse of voles so was surprised to see so many feeding on the nuts I had put out to attract red squirrels, I seen at least 8 as they darted around grabbing nuts. I thought one was being over ambitious when it tried to carry off a cob nut, but it managed to get a couple down its nest hole.
