Butterflies seen in the local area over the last week. I hope I have got the ID correct, particularly the Green Veined White and the Small Skipper.
Next Batch; Marbled White, Meadow Brown, Painted Lady & Peacock.
3rd batch; Red Admiral, Small Skipper, Small White & Speckled Wood,
and finally a Wall Brown.
Hi Ian, the Common Blue in your first post is a Brown Argus. You can see the 2 spots on the underside of the hindwing forming a figure-8 or colon, and Common Blue has an extra spot on the forewing near to the body.
