The Club have decided that the Listing Statistics would sit better within the forum, so here they are. I will try my best to keep them up to date. All totals use current AviList taxonomy and all 'BB Rarities' must be accepted. In addition, the species must be on the official Cleveland List.
If you should be included within any of the lists please contact me privately and let me know.

Caspian Gull added to the Middlesbrough Borough list.
Some excellent year listing exploits to report from last year. Paul Hinley equalled the Redcar & Cleveland record with his total of 214 (including his self-found Greater Sand Plover).
The Middlesbrough record was smashed by 3 people, with both Ian Foster and George Randall recording 133 species, while James Hinley returned a count of 122, which in any other year would have given him the new record. It should be noted that all 3 observers could see their total increase by 1 depending on the acceptance or otherwise of Collared Pratincole and 2 juvenile Yellow-legged Gulls. Watch this space!
EDIT: the Collared Pratincole has been accepted, so Ian's total has increased by one.
Updated for the Scopoli's Shearwater, now accepted by BBRC from 2020.
Cetti's Warbler added to the Middlesbrough list today.
Martin Blick has added Caspian Gull to his Redcar and Cleveland Life list.
Updated for the Brown Booby, which also increased the Borough lists for Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees and Redcar & Cleveland.
Slightly less exciting, John Regan added Sandwich Tern to his Middlesbrough list.
Cheers, Graeme
Updated for the Hartlepool Olive-backed Pipit, the Greatham Creek Rough-legged Buzzard (a Hartlepool tick for me) and Little Gull on the River Tees (a Middlesbrough tick for John Regan and a new bird for the Borough).
Cheers, Graeme.
Some impressive year-listing feats to report from 2023.

Both Jason Birch and Paul Hinley managed 219 species in Redcar & Cleveland, beating the previous record by 4.
And Martin Blick scored 198 species in Stockton-on-Tees, the second-highest total for the Borough.
Cheers, Graeme
