Two drakes seen locally this morning.
Two on the main lake at Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park this evening. Look like eclipse males to me with the red bills and orange legs and feet. Possibly the same two that were around in May and reported on and off here over the last few months.
Two still present this morning though mainly staying under cover. Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park.
Better views of them this morning when they came closer to the bank. One even managed to snag a big chunk of bread before the mallard and gulls grabbed it.
You can see the large sail feathers starting to develop.
