Teesmouth Bird Club

Was really pleased to find this bird about 2.30 this afternoon.  It looked quite tired - kept shutting its eyes, keeping near the pier.  There was nobody around to confirm the sighting so went back to Saltholme and mentioned it there.  Then spoke to Derek Clayton who shot off to see if it was still there.  Here's hoping!

Unfortunately I have been unable to post anything lately - completely lost the link to the TBC.  Back on-line again now.

A few from the other day at the Snook.

We had a bit of sunlight later in the afternoon which improved on the shots I got a.m.

Second one is a terrific shot Renton - shows the marking really well

A few shots from today.  One with a juicy spider.

Thank you very much Renton - I will pop my card in my bag so that I can pass it on when I next see you.  Much appreciated.

After taking a lot of shots early this morning my card corrupted and I lost the lot.  Thanks to John for lending me a card.  I then managed a few shots in the afternoon.

Thanks - I have just been informed that they are common terns by Ian F too.  I think these 2 may be correct although they are pretty fuzzy shots???

A few of my shots from today - I didn't manage to get a good one showing its upper wings unfortunately.

A few from today on the tidal pools

This bird was hanging around the cabin where we were staying in Mull.  Is it a funky chicken or some sort of pheasant/grouse??

Great shot of the GWE and the heron - shows the comparison in size well.
