Rare Birds / Turtle Dove

Taken at 2.30pm in field north of the double hedge at Hummersea. It didn't seem right to put this in the common bird section.

A large bird of prey seen over Roseworth estate on Tuesday 20th May 12.40pm.Looking up at two Curlew flying over calling i noticed the bird high above them. With the naked i assumed Buzzard ( good bird for Roseworth ).Not having any bins with me i took a few quick shots before it disappeared.
Looking at the bird through the camera lense it was obviously too large for buzzard. It was first noticed overhead and was gliding in a straight line only seen to beat its wings once, didn't soar with open wings. Only in view for about 2 minutes heading west no other birds high enough to compare size.
comments on ID welcome.
