Classifieds / FOR SALE Swarovski ATS 80 HD Telescope

I'm looking to sell my Swarovski ATS 80 HD with 25 - 50 zoom eyepiece and stay-on-case.
It was purchased in 2013 but remains in excellent condition, both optics and body.
This combination sells new for c£2,500 and used for c£1,500.
I'm looking for a sale price of £1,000 for this excellent scope.

Hi Raven
Redpoll id is fraught with difficulties but the brownish tones of the left hand bird make it a fairly standard Lesser Redpoll cabaretwhilst the right hand bird in my opinion is probably a fairly reasonable Mealy flammeagiven it's generally colder plumage tones and white wing bars.

Rare Birds / Re: Sooty Shearwater?

I think you will find that they were all juvenile Gannets. I was there at similar times and only had a single close Sooty at about 17:15. There was a steady trickle of juvenile Gannets north during the times you quote.
Gannets have a habit of passing in small groups in tight formation often quite close to the waves. Gannets are also considerably larger than a Sooty which look wholly dark apart from obvious silvery underwings. I didn't see any adults.
