Looking for keen seawatcher in NE England

Sorry for this off-topic but I am trying to locate the mad keen seabirder (his words) from NE England who was talking with me at the Tarifa Bird fair (feria de aves) at the end of September about seabirds while looking at some illustrations of seabirds for a book.
