Razorbill

Dead Razorbill found on Redcar beach numbered K33011 on 25/10/12.
I sent the details to the BTO and the have come back with the following reply :-

The bird was ringed  in Gharb Eilean which is in the Shiant Isles due west of Ullapool.

It seems to take about 2 months to get the information. Maybe their computers are slower than ours.

A good result, though a shame it was found dead.

I find it varies between species and ringers. Some respond within days but others can take several months.
