Dorman’s Pool Hide

The Jeff Youngs Hide at Dorman's Pool has been moved. It is now near the screen, just before the line of trees, along the path from the car park near the railway crossing.
In the new year RSPB, who now own this site, are going to open the hide during the day but TBC members will still have access 24/7 via their key, if you do not have a key and would like one please contact Chris Sharp who can post you one or see me at RSPB Saltholme on Wednesday or Saturday, they cost £4

I paid a visit today. A job well done. The hide is in a much better position with good outlook from every window. The reeds are a little high but with the hide being raised and further forward you can now see slightly more of the water than you could when the screen was there.
