Hi,

any thoughts? About the size of a Brown Argus but a bit to much blue in the wing so possibly female Common Blue?

Common Blue for me as well. Too blue plus it lacks the discal spot on the forewing and a way too much white to the trailing edges of the orange spots on the hind-wing.

Definitely a Common Blue Jamie. I agree with the points Ian has made, but also take a look at the general shape, particularly of the hindwings. Brown Argus is generally much browner, lacking any blue tones to all but the slightest tinge on the body hairs. Female Common Blues are generally smaller than the males and can be quite variable in size, some can be as small as Brown Argus

Cheers
