Which Tit?

Today at Upleatham there were 2 tits in a bush that were Coal tit colour (Buff) and size but had a black bar running down the chest simiiar to Great tit. If it had been later in the year I would guess recently fledged G Tits but given recent conditions, surely not............Any opinions welcome
