Guisborough Westgate/Chalonor St, Swift colony

Don't know how long this colony has been in the soffit of the old Post office/Halifax corner building but noticed it last year and have seen them emerging and making a spectacular display screeching along Guis high street today.
I notice the building is vacant and wonder if anything has been done to safeguard the location.

8.8.2013. Had another look today and there was no sign of any activity from the colony, noticed the decorators/shop fitters were in the building and wonder if they have disturbed them or that the young have fledged?
