Three present this morning. Mainly feeding in hornbeams on the side of the lower track to Castle Lake. Easily disturbed by movement/talking amongst people on the track below. They tend to fly off towards the churchyard on top of the hill and return a few minutes later.

Lots of seeds left on the trees so they may stick around while. When I left I drove past the church and saw three perched on the tree tops behind the church.

Apparently they've been present over the last week or so.

A shame the light was so poor today for photos, but still good to see locally.

Four around early afternoon today.

Light still poor.

Better light this afternoon with blue skies and sunshine, but also accompanied by some pretty strong winds especially on the lower track. I didn't see any birds at all there when I called in. The rear of St.Michaels Church was a little better with two birds showing on and off.

At least three in the churchyard this morning. Alternating feeding in the hornbeams, yew and on ivy berries plus generally hopping around the trees and bushes.

A couple more photos from today.

Six around this morning feeding in hornbeams on the lower track. None at all in the churchyard.
