A party of five Brambling present today feeding in amongst a dozen or so each of Siskin, Redpoll and Chaffinch.

Fifteen or so present today.

Around a dozen present today but very flighty. They seemed more interested in displaying than feeding.

15-20 each of Siskin and Redpoll present this morning. No sign of any Brambling.

Around a dozen Crossbill still present but very mobile.

We were ringing in the wood again this morning. Still lots of Siskin and Redpoll plus a few Brambling. We caught a few of each.

Half a dozen Crossbill still around as well. This red male landed in the tree above where we sit. It perched singing for 5-6 minutes before flying off. A green female landed with it but remained out of view.
